Well we got to the park around 11:00, wanted to be there by 10, but traffic on I-270 was horrid.
As soon as we got in the park we headed to Mr.Freeze. The line was minimal, and we choicr to turn left at the fork in the path.
The ride I thought was BORING, I just don't see the point of it.
The ride was better last year when they didn't have the God awful harnesses that swallow your head. Needless to say this was my ONLY ride on it that day.
Next we went to go find the Boss, when we get there we find out it's not open, it valleyed AGAIN. Later I found out that they were trying out the third train (yellow) and for some reason it gets way to much friction and doesn't make it through the course.
Hopefully they can get that fixed before my next visit.
SO we headed to Screamin' Eagle, the coaster still has a kick! The only problem is, is that the station is SO DANG LITTLE, that you can't even TRY to get a front seat ride. That's ok though I prefer back on ALL coasters.
After that we went to Rush Street Flyer, met a new special friend.
The ride op (ZACH) was a very rude person. Because we had an odd number in out group one of our members wasn't aloud to sit by us because there had to be 2 to a seat. Well he was forced to sit with someone else...that's not what bothered me though, what bothered me was that there was 2 other people on board that were not required to sit with people. Yes that deserves a WTF?
After that we headed to the River King Mine Train. I find this coaster very boring, but for some weird reason I always feel I must ride it when I'm at the park...maybe it's the tunnel..nah!
Well we got off the Mine Train and went to Batman. The queue was very filthy (and this park got the cleaniest SF park in '99) But we did manage to get a front row seat, which is almost unheard of.
It's fun in the front, but I'm not too impressed...BTR is way too short.
