TR CP: Physics Day 5-10-02

Hello Coaster Fans Who Are Busy Planning Their Weekends,

I'll leave the main details to those who got to spend the whole day at CP...I just got the last 3 1/2 hours.

MForce sign up front saying it will not be running all day...rumor has it that it vallied this morning?

Raptor not running...just opened up 45 min before the park closed...line quickly jumped to 1 hour (we waited 40 min and we got off they said one hour wait). They at least kept the line open untill 8.

Corkscrew Closed.

Choas Closed and men working on it.

Scrambler closed and men working on it.

Magnum GREAT Ride today...they had the midcourse brakes off so it flew through the bunny hops. Rode it a few more times. Waited about 15 min for it.

Power Tower had a 15 min wait.

Blue Steak running slower than last Sunday but much better than last year.

Demon Drop Walk on.

Wicked Twister 30 min wait.

And than we had to leave :( We'll be back tomorrow night though :)

Sounds like they were having some problems. I'm not sure where MF could have vallied. I guess between the 2nd and 3rd hill but this thing normally averages 50s and up the whole ride. Or atleast it feels like it never really slows up. Did you see the train vallied? I guess they could have put it in the tunnel if thats where it vallied

It seems like Millennium Force and Physics Day just do not get along or something...the same thing happened 2 years ago when my Physics class went.

Millenium Force was vallied in the track closest to Mantis. When I was in line for Mantis you could see the train. Corscrew closed? Wasnt when I was there and I stayed till 6.

Hmmm that's strange. I talked to a few other people who said Corscrew was opened during the day. I wonder why it went down. They had a few employees who were all standing on the loading track the two times I went by it. Once from Power Tower we saw it do a test run with no one on it, so we headed over and it never opened. Oh well, the next day we got some AWESOME front seat rides on it. Those who don't know about the airtime this thing has....
