Tower of terror in California?

Hey, i was just wonderin, does anybody know when the tower of terror will open at California adventure?(if they are gonna build it)

They are going to build it. I would think we're looking at 1-2 years until it's open.

Yeah so far they are working on foundation work. I think it supposed to open for the summer of 2003.

The press release about a month ago said that it will open in 2004. It will be similar, but not exactly the same as the one in Orlando. Early stage construction has already begun.

Iv'e rode the one in Florida and I know how detailed the theming is but doesn't that seem like a long time. They don't have to deal with a lot of bad weather or anything like that. I was just wonderin what will take so long.

I wonder that myself. But they are apparently planning on taking that long. It may be a financial budget restriction. Who knows. But everyone has said that DCA lacks quantity. They shouldve looked at adding a few attractions that would be ready to go much sooner. Then add the ToTC after the park has built somewhat of a reputation.

They can't build it as high in California than they did in Florida so they have to dig a deeper pit. That should add to build time.
