Tournaments, etc.

There is a thread for Bemani games that you play, as well as an accomplishment thread. Why not have a tournaments thread?

Simple - post here about ANY tournaments in and around your area. If you attend, why not take pictures or give us your thoughts about what you saw?

My first post as the thread starter is to announce a tournament that is in the works for Tilt in the West Covina Mall.

Name - Freestyle Revolution
Type of tournament - Versus freestyle
Admission Fee - TBA
Rules - TBA
Prize - Cash, TBA

There are regular PA tournaments at Magic Mountain East in my neck of the woods, though I've never gone. I think I could compete in the lower heavy divisions, but I don't think I would like sitting around all day waiting for my turn. I'd rather just play.

But I'm interested to see pics from your tourney!

Although there are plenty of locations and players around here, tournaments are few and far between. When there are tournaments, it's usually very very intimidating for any n00bs. At the local community college, where there's more n00bs, someone's trying to organize a more friendly tournament. Who knows where that's gonna lead....

There is a tournament that i'm trying to hold at Cal Poly, but i haven't gotten to it much because of my busy schedule. I've only competed in one tourney way back in the day. When i kinda sucked. I didn't qualify, then, but now i think i have a chance.
