In the strongest signs yet that tourism is recovering to pre-Sept. 11 levels, three Central Florida theme parks reported record-setting attendance, and the Magic Kingdom was so packed on Monday that it had to close parking lots to all but Disney resort guests. Disney's Animal Kingdom had its biggest day ever.

IOA and BGT were just plain sick. Sick.
Good thing I bought the Power Annual Pass ($5 more than the two-day two-park passes they were plugging at the gates) and the Fun Card for BGT. I'll be back.

I was surprised to see they don't do Platinum passes at the Florida parks. I bought one last year at BGW (two years, all Busch parks, $200), but they couldn't redeem it yet because they were out of the cards. Couldn't make it into plastic at BGW either because they just don't sell them there.
So we'll get our cards redeemed like a year after we bought them!
