Total Mayhem

This video just surfaced online today, but is it real?

Well, it looks like a video, so I'd say yes.
Well, I'd say since it's online it has to be real.

Like fish in a barrel, folks.

Ok. I heard the Total Mayhem name is no good, because it belongs to something else. I'm not sure where I found that, but I'm pretty sure it was online.
The video looks like it's specific to Six Flags over New Jersey and the design is expanded as predicted for the second installation. So maybe it is.
Would you like to say where online you found it?

Just rode Batman SFFT last weekend and was not super impressed. The first flip coming down the first drop was interesting, and we may have gotten 2 more flips at other points during the ride, but basically it felt like a slow, boring coaster in which you were sometimes flipping a little but mostly just rocking back and forth.

Hobbes: "What's the point of attaching a number to everything you do?"
Calvin: "If your numbers go up, it means you're having more fun."

•While a ride without turns doesn't appeal to me as much as one with turns, I can see how some people could get excited about something like this.

•It seems to me like a waste of good waterfront property. I wish they would use that gorgeous lake as a great visual spectacle. Build a major path between the lake and the new coaster. You can see that lake from many parts of the park, but wouldn't it be awesome to have an unobstructed view?

•Why haven't the S&S 4D coasters taken off? There are only a handful built in the world, and only one in the US.

Alright I'll be the first to say it...

Won't this be a capacity nightmare at SFGAdv?

You don't know how bad I wanted to ask that. LOL

I just checked and the wait time is already 2 hours.

Exactly the problem here with capacity. But if enough people are snaking in the line past the parking entrance towards Hurricane Harbor, that will free up the actual great rides like El Toro, Nitro, and Bizarro. While not exactly the kick in the crotch that El Diablo was last year, this is still a huge letdown considering how many better options there were on the table. Prime real estate and a great view that could have been incorporated into the ride now ruined and Batman's reviews in Texas have been blah ever since the opening. The general public will probably be happy with this spectacle.

Sooooo, is The Joker coaster truly the only ride to be excited about? What a giant letdown overall. Sad news for La Ronde and especially The Great Escape which needed more than this. Bizarro back to Superman? Why? What effects will they take away and will they add anything? Will they do the same to GA's Bizarro? Not a bad year to switch over to a Cedar Fair membership.

LostKause, I kinda had a similar inquiry. I was curious to know why no more B&M wing coasters are being built?? There are only 4 in the U.S. and I think 5 in other parts of the world. Has their era already come and gone more or less ?

Are you MAN ENOUGH to ride this ride ?

To me it looks like an excact copy of the one at Fiesta.
