Top Thrill Drasgetr Upgrade

Since Dragster's motor needs to be replaced it will make the ride faster. Do you think they should cut the tophat off and add 60+ feet on it. That way they could still hold the record.
Did I miss something somewhere about the motor being replaced?

And someone just asked something to this extent at PointBuzz. Here's the thread:

Why not cover it with a vacuum pump and.....
Darn you CP Fanboys! Just face the fact, you're going to lose you're record for tallest coaster in 2005! You can't just "chop off" the top of the tower and add 60 feet. That's like saying "well, lets make the Empire State building the tallest building in the world by removing the pinicle, adding 20 more floors, and placing the pinicle back on." It's just not possible from an engeniring standpoint. The ride supports and footors were specifically designed to support the ride as it is.

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

I'm still trying to figure out where he got the motor replace thing. Can anyone enlighten me on this or is this someone trying to make something up to draw attention. And don't say screamscape said so...

You're kidding right? 1) Getting a new motor won't make it go any faster than it did before. 2) You are an idiot.
