Top Thrill Dragster Station Music

Anyone who's ridden Top Thrill Dragster has to know the particular song I'm talking about. It's stuck in my head and I'd like to know the title and artist of the song.

Goes a little something like, "Baby I'm ready to roll...dah dah dah dah dah da da dah...Baby I'm ready to roll..."
Any help is appreciated! =o)

It's all in Twisted Wicker... Can't you see?!

Sounds like "Ready to go" by Republica to me... :)

Missing the Fallen:

The Bat 1981-1983

Interesting; there are two mixes on their album (original and US) but I can't remember it well enough to tell which one it was. Rhapsody r0x0rs.

While we're on the topic, I know one of my fellow obsessive CP fandudes has put together the list of music on the TTD tape loop. Anyone have it handy? I'm in a burning fit (and at 79 cents/song, who wouldn't?) as we're packing up the family truckster to take a trip to the outer banks. Having a coaster CD will help the drive nicely.

Edit: Found it on GTTP. Unfortunately, Rhapsody has only about half of it availble for burning. Curses! Foiled again!

The one played at the park is the US mix, which in my opinion, is inferior to the original UK mix. It's a damn shame that Americans are so hung up on hearing their guitars.

DELETED! What time does the water show start?

Oh wow. I use to love that song a few years back, and I still like it. Thats a cool choice of a song to use. Goes great with The Dragster! Im ready to go at the end of the month. That is if it opens up again it is having some downtime right now. It held up good for the pass few weeks or so. Was open almost everday as long as it did not rain.

I noticed that the music director (hypothetical position) at CP likes that song, as it is heard in the TTD queue, on the midway and has been incorporated into Snoopy's Summer Spec. I do believe that the Jammin' DJs also have access to the song...

:)

Jings! I won!! ;) Can I claim a free pancake or somethin' seein' as I won't hear *that* tune in *that* station til June 04? :) - heck, only ten months to go :(
