"Top Thrill Dragster" Problem Almost Solved

Well I tried my hand at building "Top Thrill Dragster" in RCT2 and i think I've found a way to make the new CP ride with Intamin track. First you create the "Launch Level" track and then have the track go up at the steepest angle possible. Then when you get to 400' or about that height, put the cable lift piece in. After that, Have the track do a little dip to gain some speed, then build the top-hat and have drop as far as you like. Then have the Brake Run. I know it looks different, but at this moment I can only think that this is the way to have a recreation of 'Top Thrill Dragster" with 400' and 114 m.p.h, even though the real ride is 120 mph or somthing like that. Please, just try it. My ratings were: E=High, I=High, N=Med. Thanks for reading. :)

I did TTD with the LIM launch and it works just fine. Granted, its not using Intamin track...but it is still a TTD recreation.

It you use the steel hyper track with the 2-across trains and a trainer, you can make a great recreation, even if it isn't Intamin track.

Why don't we just all wait until the expansion pack comes out to build a recreation that is even closer.

There will be an expansion pack released in early May, and it is more than likely to contain a rocket coaster.

How is it more than likely? If it's still going to be Six Flags themed, I highly doubt we'll see one. How many Six Flags parks have a rocket coaster? (Answer: 0) How many parks have one at all? (Answer: 2)

Just because the rocket coaster happens to only be located at two CF parks doesn't mean that it can't be included in the expansion pack.

It's just about the only new type of coaster actually in operation that can be added,personally I'm hoping for more flats myself though.

Could always try to make the best looking re-creation possible in which case the park will probably not be operational anyways so the ride doesn't have to be and you can make it look good weather it works or not.

Yeah, so? How many Six Flags parks have a Togo stand-up? Or a Wooden Reverser? Wacky Soap Box Racers? Jet skiis? Thrust Air 2000s? Dive Machines? And all of those are in the game...

MarimbaGuy 87, the game is not entirely Six Flags. If you'd notice, not every scenario is a Six Flags park. How many Six Flags parks have panda trains?

Ok, I understand that there are some coasters in the game that aren't very popular. I will also admit that I didn't think about them. I apologize for sounding rude in my post, if that's the way you took it. I wasn't intending to sound like that at all- sorry. PS- I'm hoping for a rocket coaster personally, I just don't see it happening for some reason.

Did Anyone ever think to hope for a rocket terra coaster? We may get the expansion pack only to find out that the rocket coasters only go like 200'. Just a thought.

Actually i was thinking about that

I'll be happy with just a rocket coaster, we can already build a "strata" coaster (as Cedar Point calls it)

In the RCT 2 Expansion pack, I really hope there will be over banked turns but I doubt it.
