Cedar Point posted their events list for 2025 which can be found at cedarpoint.com/events. I noticed a very interesting bit of text on the opening day page. It reads the following:
Cedar Point® opens for its 156th summer season on Saturday, May 3. It’s the unofficial start of summer and your first chance to take on Millennium Force®, Steel Vengeance®, Kiddy Kingdom, delicious fresh-cut fries, the mile-long Cedar Point Beach and the record-breaking Top Thrill 2™ triple-launch strata coaster.
I find it rather interesting that they made this statement. They haven't touched on Top Thrill 2 since they announced Siren's Curse on September 19th, 2024, stating:
With the addition of Siren’s Curse, Cedar Point will be home to an impressive lineup of 19 roller coasters, including fan favorites like Millennium Force®, Steel Vengeance®, Maverick® and more. As previously announced, the record-breaking triple-launch strata coaster Top Thrill 2® is scheduled to reopen in 2025.
Has Zamperla/Cedar Point figured out a fix that will work long term that can be done in 105 days or less? I would hope so. Its an amazing ride
Before anyone tries to argue that they probably just copied and pasted the 2024 opening day blurb, I went onto the Wayback Machine and took a look, and that read as follows:
Start your engines! Cedar Point opens for its 155th summer season on Saturday, May 4. It’s the unofficial start of summer and your first chance to take on Millennium Force®, Steel Vengeance®, Kiddy Kingdom, delicious fresh-cut fries, the mile-long Cedar Point Beach and the all-new, record-breaking Top Thrill 2™ triple-launch strata coaster.
I just figured I point these details out. I know they wouldn't mention Top Thrill 2 unless they were confident it would open, especially since they have been rather quiet about the ride.
Counting down the days until I'm back at Cedar Point, the one and only place to be.
They probably just copied and pasted the 2024 opening day blurb.

Ah, crap.
I live in a different universe if those two blurbs don't count as copy & pasted.
They're literally copied and pasted...and barely edited.
True. However they had the opportunity to remove the mention of TT2 if they needed to, but didn’t

So what you're saying is, the fact that they copy-and-pasted last year's text proves that they didn't just copy-and-paste last year's text, because they could have edited it but didn't?
This is Coasterbuzz, where we overanalyze the hell out of everything, and this thread seems like a bit much.
This checks out. At any moment I expect us to dissect the wording of the announcement. Debate if the words are noun or adjectives in use, whether the words are valid in the OED, and if the words have a right to exist. Then we will inevitably break into a tangent about healthcare, or a pandemic, or something about Cheeto Mussolini. Then we will argue semantics about that, inject a slider of some sort. We will be schooled by Jeff on morality, and then after we go for 10 pages everyone will cease to exist and the thread will die a quick death.
There. I just saved you all the effort. </thread>

You forgot the part where someone will say "I don't know much about that specific standard/regulation, but I'm sure Dave will be along soon to explain."
