Top ten most expensive rollercoasters ever

I don't see how Rock N Rollercoaster could cost that much. Theres nothing to it but a bunch of turns and some carboard lighted by black light. I bet the most expensive part of the ride was the sound system, but it should be no where near 50mil.

I'm suprised SD2K costs 50mil. Its only like 10ft. taller than MF, but double the price. Thats amazing.

I bet rides like S:TE and Hulk are more expensive in the long run. I know Hulk has huge operating costs with those generators and I'm sure S:TE escape does with its LIMS.

I know Stealth was very expensive (although I do not have the exact figures) due to the fact that Paramount was working with Vekoma to develop the ride. I believe work started on the roller coaster protorype around 1992 (if I'm not mistaken.)

In total, I'm sure the project cost Paramount Parks a lot of money. And, apparently, Paramount wasn't very happy with the outcome since they destroyed their contract with Vekoma.

TITAN_FAN_13, $25m. MIB is not a coaster!

RB was only $12m? Isn't that rather cheap for a B&M Hyper?

Space Mountain DLP cost 100m Pounds?? That's $142 million! Not Francs? :)

Many people are still including rides that cost high prices... With all the themeing and landscaping. If you're only counting the ride itself, well that's a differnet thing!

The cost of Goliath was never released to the public.. but I would expect it was pretty damn expensive, in the 20 million range maybe? I bet it was more than MF though, why would they want to keep it secret?
