Top 100 attractions? Top 100 water slides?

I really like this site and have referenced it for years when researching amusement parks to go to. But is anybody aware of any other similar lists/websites where the focus is expanded to the Top 100 amusement park attractions (rollercoasters still included, but all other ride types considered as well)? And of course, water slides are their own category too.

Tried a quick search the forum and didn't see anything. Saw a list for Top 100 attractions in the world, but it seemed to be limited to just one person's opinion.

I can only imagine how daunting a task it would be to not only compile (and keep updated) a list of all amusement park rides and water slides worldwide, but to establish a fair ranking system for them and then actually have enough interest from enthusiasts, let alone the general public, to get a sample size large enough to be anywhere even remotely accurate.

It has been endlessly controversial to rank just coasters. People sure have a lot of opinions about it.

There's also a ton of duplication of water slides. Look at the bowl and half pipe slides. They're all pretty similar and a good deal are probably exact clones.

There are a ton of duplicated coasters too. There are a few water slides that do stand out far above the rest — for example, any of the water coasters at Holiday World.

I don’t think it would be impossible to set up a ranking of water slides, but first you’d need someone to document all of them and I don’t think there’s nearly as much interest in that as there is for coasters. Thats on top of the fact that water parks aren’t nearly as well attended as amusement parks and I’d imagine people don’t travel for water parks like they do amusement parks.
