Top 10 hardest songs

I just posted to a similar thread on ddrfreak.com, and it was fun, so I'll start it here.

What do you think are the 10 hardest songs in DDR, in order? And, since most people's lists would obviously start with at least 5 of the 10-footers, let's eliminate the 10-footers.

Here's mine:

1) Cartoon Heroes (absolute chaos)
2) Gradiusic Cyber (the 16th-note runs kill me)
3) Exotic Ethnic (insane crossovers)
4) Orion .78 Civilzation Mix
5) Leading Cyber
6) Secret Rendezvous (really - I think I've only passed it once. I don't know why it gives me such trouble).
7) Xenon
8) Captain Jack (the shark is usually around for the whole song when I play this).
9) The Least 100 Seconds (definitely should be a 9-footer!)
10) Trip Machine Climax

Songs 1-6 are pretty much the only songs below 10 feet that I still worry about failing. Thanks to DDRMAX2, I've mastered songs that formerly were next to impossible for me (Afronova, Burning Heat, So Deep to be specific).

You should probably mention that you mean in heavy mode, which is something not everyone can do anyway.

Oh yeah. I mean heavy mode. Though if I were to list my top 20, Maxx Unlimited standard would probably be in there...

EDIT: Actually, "Top 10 Hardest Standard Songs" might be a pretty good topic, too. Off the top of my head:

1) Maxx Unlimited
2) Legend of Max
3) Ska a Go Go
4) Orion .78 Civilization Mix
5) Max 300
6) Xenon
7) HVAM, maybe....

It's hard to remember those....

We're talking about just being hard to pass, right?

Here's my list, in no particular order. Of course there are no 10's because I'm no where near passing any of them now. These are all on Heavy:

1. So Deep
2. Cartoon Heroes
3. Exotic Ethnic
4. Rhythm and Police
5. End of the Century
6. Orion. 78 AMeuro Mix
7. Burning Heat
8. Justify My Love
9. Twilight Zone
10. Healing Vision Angelic Mix

But I think it all depends on the player. I know some of the ones I consider hard, others think are easy, and I think some songs that people think are hard are somewhat easy (For 9 footers, at least.) I know a lot of people have trouble with Xenon, Orion Civilization and Witch Doctor, but I can pretty much pass all those consistently with a C or better.

Hmm, interesting topic...here are mine: (on heavy)

1. Paranioa Eternal. (if u haven't tried the newer version and you think it's the same 5th mix para, you're in for QUITE the surprise)
2. Across the nightmare (oni)
3. Ska a Go Go
4. Gradiusic Cyber
5. Orion.78 (Civ Mix)
6. Dynamite Rave (oni)

i can't think of anymore that pose a good enough challenge to be up here other than a few 10fters.

That's funny, I don't think Ska a Go Go heavy is any harder than standard. In fact, it may be easier to PA, because it has only one long 16th-note run, instead of two at the end. Guess it just depends on what you've played most and what you're good at.

I've never tried the new Para. Eternal steps, nor can I find the step chart. I'm glad they changed them though, the old steps are retarded.

Yeah, that falls right into what AB was saying about some songs being easy for some and hard for others and vice versa for the same exact songs. (I.E. Exotic Ethnic. I can almost Full Combo EE)
