Too Many B&M's

What's the most B&Ms at one park ?

We have 3 here at SFGAm - Batman (1st one),
Iron Wolf (1st ever B&M solo design) & Raging Bull (is this their first Hyper too ?).

No wonder I love this park so much ! All we need now is a B&M sit down mega looper to complete the collection.

I agree, you can't have too many B&M. I could ride Batman or Raging Bull all day and never get sick of it.

I feel that there could never be enough B&M roller coasters in the world. Do I like seeing the same coaster pop up at every Six Flags Theme Park - No. Would I like to see many variations to the inverted coaster - Yes.

B&M make the best coasters IMO. Smooth, Fast, Innovative, Appearance. I think that the B&M coasters are the coolest looking coasters ever built, it helps when they are colored so brightly.

Keep up the great work B&M and I look forward to seeing another one added to my homepark SFGAM in the near future.

I agree with BMCoaster they do make the best stel coasters out there. But they are also rare considering this at end of 2002:-

Sit Downs = 4
Stand ups = 8
Inverteds = 23
Speed = 4
Floorless = 7
Vertical = 2
Lie Down = 1

Other than Inverted coasters they are rare, In fact there are more Batman clones than speed+vertica+lie down altogether.Other than that one Batman design cloned (9 times) B&M are still exclusive I can only name a few parks with three and none with four!

Also Japan has nothing but B&M Inverteds so large market and Australia is un tapped. And as I said in a previous post on 8 in europe!

Notice that I alluded to the fact that the manufacturers don't clone them, but that the parks do...but I think that Vekoma markets set models (just look at the website!), while B&M says "What would you like us to build.?" Like I said, I think that the reason B&Ms are not cloned that often (other than Batman:the Ride) is that parks want original designs if they're dishing out the cash for a B&M. Since Vekoma's standard models are so cheap, why bother boosting the price for an original?

B&M makes great coasters. Probably there is still a market for multi-looping sitdown coasters. The Incredible Hulk at Islands of Adventure is incredible. A first experience on a B&M is incredible (Raptor, Alpengeist) but by the time I rode Dueling Dragons, it was not that intense. Having not ridden a floorless, or multiple stand ups, I can not say if this trend continues for all their rides. Since there are so few B&M sitdowns, that is where the best market is. However, as long as they keep building them, I'll ride them! *** This post was edited by tservo on 5/30/2001. ***

Mongoose, read the post above yours for the other two Floorless coasters.

Mister Twister, a B&M is a coaster manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard in Switzerland. B&M is considered to be one of the best coaster designers in the world. Alton Towers has 3 Beemers, Nemesis - Inverted, Oblivion - Vertical & AIR - Flying, still under construction.

You can find all the Beemers here; http://www.coaster-network.com/bm/bm/
