Too late to join CB to go to Coastermania?

We just decided to make a trip to the Point this Thursday and Friday. Is it too late to join CB and take part in Coastermania? Would probably not be able to get card in time. Would receipt from joining online be enough proof? We have season passes and are staying on Point at Breakers and would hate to hear all the fun and not be able to participate!

Time and time again Jeff tells people not to wait until the last minute. Yet it seems this question comes up before every event.

Check the calendar, see if anyone else is going. You might be able to find two people here willing to let you piggy back on to their membership for the day since they get one guest.

I'm not Jeff, but I wouldn't do this. Why would I inconvenience myself for someone planning at the last minute? Perhaps if this were a CB event, but certainly not in this case.

Seeing as how I'm going to be in Orlando, and not in a position to print cards before that, meeting me for Coastermania would be pretty silly.

And yes, I do go through this for every event. My suggestion is to join the club during winter or the hot part of the summer when there typically aren't events.

I too will be there Friday. I could supply 1 entry.

I am also going to CP on Friday with my son and his girlfriend did not relize that it was coastermania day. Can I expect larger crowds or just a couple hundred extra enthusiests there? I wish I would have spent the $20 and become a member so I could par take in the fun! I will be buying membership soon and be there Boobuzz. Have Fun as I will be envious of you guys!

Coastermania is typically 1500-2000 people, but you really won't notice the difference in the park. The only time you'll really see the difference is the 9am-10am hour when it's typically just resort guests and platinum pass holders. That will be busier.

I didn't realize that you needed an official card - I thought membership was enough. I can definitely understand the frustration on the part of Jeff and Co. with all us last minute people - but you could look at it as extra support for CoasterBuzz - support meaning money - from folks who wouldn't join otherwise.

I just processed my membership now - and then read this post. Wish I'd done it the other way 'round, but such is my luck.

My brother and I will be at CP tomorrow to celebrate my birthday. Is there anyone who could let us piggyback on your official membership card?

Even if you don't get an awnser from anyone here, I wouldn't worry. There are many people who don't bring guests. As long as your there early, you'll find someone who can help out.
