Tony Hawk's Boom Boom Huck-Jam tour at SF parks.

I decided to head out to SFGAm Tuesday to see the beginning of the 2006 Boom Boom Huck-Jam tour and I must say it was very cool to watch.

Even if you aren't into skateboarding, BMX, or Motocross, these guys pull off tricks that will make most just stare in awe.

If you are near any of the SF parks that this tour is doing, go and check it out. It's included with park admission or if you have a season pass. $20 will get you a VIP seat which is optional.

First time I have ever seen Tony Hawk live which was pretty cool. Been following his skating career since I was in high school.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

I've been following the huck Jam tours on Fuel for a while now.
Yeah, they are something to watch alright. Makes the stuff we used to do 30 yrs ago on a 20" bike look like nothing.

Good move for 6 Flags.

As a skier, I can appreciate what these people do in mid air. Amazing!

They make it look like something out of the "Matrix".

I thought back-flips were awesome....then I saw a front-flip. Just WOW!

Reminded me of how the "pretzel loop" was once considered impossible by some, or even a wooden coaster with a loop. (OK, that second one may not have been a great example, LOL)... ;)

Where at the parks do they hold the show?

Here are the dates.

I LOVE watching that stuff on TV. I would love to see the show live. I have always admired Tony Hawk.

Yes indeed, the Boom Boom Huckjam is a great show. I saw it twice at United Center already. However, and this is where I will be taking the heat, I won't pay $120.00 for admission for 2 people to the park, $20.00 for parking, probably $50.00 for 2 in-park meals, the extra $40.00 for VIP seating and the $30.00 in gas to get there.

We're talking $260.00 ish...

It really is a great show though...see it at United Center!

I am taking my son to Great Adventure to see the Huck Jam. I used to skate competitively when I was in my late teens early 20's. Now my son is really into it. Skateboarding and my first lap on El Toro should make for a good day at the park. ;)
