Tokyo Disneyland attendance up 6.5%

Tokyo Disneyland, already drawing an impressive 17 million visitors per year, reports that attendance is up 6.5% over last year during its critical vacation period from late July to the end of August.

That's funny considering the American Disney parks are down in attendance this year. Hmmm...makes you wonder, especially since the economy in Japan is supposed to be worse than ours. Perhaps Eisner and Pressler need to be taking a trip to Japan to see how the Oriental Land Company runs things over there. ;)
