Togo's Hyper in Japan??

Fujiyama i think is its name, but I was interested in it. I heard it is actually fun! Being a TOGO that's rare! Does anyone know anything about it...been on it...or have pictures of it. Start the thread Buzzers...

There have been a number of threads on this, but I can say that I have ridden it a few times, and yes it is exceptional!  TOGO built it awhile back and built is smooth.  Very smooth.   Surprisingly smooth.  Does that answer your question?  I actually don't have any pics of it, but you can go to http://www.asovini.com/screamer/e/mainhome_e.html and download video of the ride.  There are 3 different videos there.  Have fun...!

I rode it a few weeks ago, and killed a few rolls of film on it.  (Pictures will be on www.coastergallery.com in a few days)

I will also post a ride review in the trip reports section.

It was REALLY fun, and not a torture device, thanks to the lack of shoulder restraints.  The hills tracked very smoothly. Although the curves still felt like a Togo (pretty rough) , it wasn't rough on the body thanks to the restraint system.  The layout is very much like the Coney Island Cyclone, although 250 feet high and made of steel.  (Several things I learned on this trip: Raging Bull was not the first hyper-twister, MF did not have the first elevator lift, and Hulk is not the first tire-launched lift.,...more on these in trip reports in the next few days.)

I'll go into more detail later, and will post again when I get the pictures op on CoasterGallery.  (I just got done with Nagashima Spaland)

There were a few pics on nasai's link ....in the section about Dodonpa(which I may Add looks to be a kind of lack-luster ride like hypersonic) . It looks like a cool coaster! The angle of descent is pretty awesome. I bet it has a pretty good veiw too, being by an ocean(or sea?).  Man if I won the lottery ... I would definately be headin overseas....with Expedition GE Force, The ten looper(name?), Odysey, the giga to come to Heide, and Colossos it seems like a promising trip. Yes i realize this would require ALOT of travel...but what's money for eh? Too bad I doubt I will be winning the lottery.

Hey Peabody, you are right!  That thing is like the CI Cyclone.  I didn't even think about it until you wrote it, but yeah....  on the money!  Too bad about Dodonpa:(
