ToGo Hypers

PT300 - my track record was never completed. I've ridden 7 TOGOs, all in the US. Each one was awful IMHO.

Nasai - I know the TOGOs in Japan are better maintained and operated, but that doesn't help those of us stuck with the TOGO crap we have here stateside.

Again, this is only my opinion. Your mileage may vary.

Moosh - track record 295, sig to change soon ;-)

I've ridden 16 Togos, 18 if you count the two racers.

Doesn't Viper have a heartline dive, just a smaller version??

Long live Six Flags Astroworld!! Ok, you can all laugh now...

I have ridden Viper and Shockwave and I say that Viper used to be a good ride but I don't ride it much anymore because it makes my back sore. Also Shockwave is a very smooth Togo and IMHO is way better then Mantis which is the only other stand up I've ridden.
Vertigo-For once I agree with you.

Nasai-Maybe there is somthing wrong with me, but I had a good time during that heartline roll. I do know that hanging upside down isn't everyone's favorite (See 2Hostyl and Volcano). I remember the weird OTSRs, but I didn't have a problem with them. The rest of the ride was a-ok to me.

Mamoosh-Tell me, what was wrong with SFAW's TOGO? Was it rough? If so, I probably wouldn't blame TOGO for it entirely, seeing as Nagashima Spa Land's was as smooth as glass.

PT300 (who's horrible at coming up with analogies. smooth as glass? baby's bottom? computer screen? B&M?)

And one thing I forgot to mention, even the crappiest coasters I've been on have some redeeming qualities (none of these are TOGOs).

TOGO!

Wow, I guess my "small sample" is unusual or my tastes are way off from the norm....KC was my 3rd-rated stand-up behind only RRv and Ga Scorcher.....now where I differ from most is I actually look forward to riding Viper (GAdv) again...very interesting, like the twist and dive, not overly bangy for me. I guess all coasters bearing this name, I like, lol....but Shockwave, now THAT is the Togo that you'd have to pay *some serious cash money* to get me on again.....(noone at all was waiting for the last four rows...what DID they know that I didn't?)

edit: Manhattan Express will go on the list soon, where will it fall....I know it's not gonna be a "religious experience", but will it be "suck-tacular"....bill, thinking jeremy's scale is more fun that the old Griswold scale, but probably not as PC....

Great comments, Viper.

I don't go on coaster trips, I just follow my dad because Stanford already send him so maany places for meetings from Rio to Tokyo.
