Tivoli plans Halloween schedule

Copenhagen's famed amusement park Tivoli plans to open for 10 days in the fall with a Halloween theme to coincide with students' weeklong fall holiday. The downtown amusement park is currently open from mid-April to mid-September.

I've always been curious as to how much Halloween was celebrated outside of the United States. Anyone here familiar with how Halloween is celebrated elsewhere? I'd always thought it was strictly a North American holiday.
