TITAN vs. GOLIATH = Better Station, Queuing, & Ent

i like goliaths theming because it has like giant stone pieces of the real goliath or its from a lost civilization. so its pretty funy to look at while your waiting inline for it.

are you ready to go vertical... v2... SFMW... 2001
Theme or no theme, Titan rules!!! I had my first ride tonight and let me tell you it was the best of my life. The view at night from atop the first hill actually had me hoping the train would get stuck at the top for awhile so I could just sit there and enjoy the night lights of Dallas and the surrounding areas from such a brilliant vantage point. No such luck, as we plummeted down the first hill my heart was in my throat all the way down, UNBELIEVEABLE!!! This is the best coaster I've been on in my life.

Nuff said.

No, I believe it's the amount of money they received. SFMM, of course, got more money than Six Flags Over Texas did to theme the station and que. IMO, the big stone letters are ugly anyway.

Are sure about that buddy? First of all, you have no idea how much money the parks "recieved" and I really would really like for you to explain where exactly the parks are "receiving: this money from. Do you mean profits, in general?

Well Ive been on Goliath and if Titan is 1/2 as good as its LA Cousin it'll be one heck of a ride.

IMHO the helix before the mid-course brakes would be a great lead up to the Centrifuge as the brakes throw you HARD into the OTSR's.

IMHO based on all the times, Ive been to the Mountain, Goliaths Big-Letter entrance is one of the most photographed spots in the park and that speaks volumes for its appeal. Although I cant speak for Titan, Goliaths queue was great especially for me as the temp was high 90's, the fans, demisters and shade made all the difference.

IMHO, I dont think SFMM does a very good themeing job all around but Goliath was a crowning success for them!

If Lifes a Rollercoaster, I want a Flawless
I just had 5 rides on Titan in one day, and I blacked out 4 times: But the ride was excelent. Anyway, you can't compare the two, they are both themed differently!
They only have lapbars not OTsR's. That stands for over the shoulder restriants. They have lapbars.

You balcked out? Where did you ride?

I think Goliath has the better theming and station, but I also think that Titan's theming is not bad. I really like the que line with the pond, wagon, wind mill, rustic hand rails, and lanterns. I also think that the entrance is pretty cool and the station looks pretty cool in person. However, in terms of rides, I think it's unquestionable that Titan is better; the extra helix is every bit as intense as the second helix and has some very good headchoppers
I sat in the very last row!

Yep, that's blackout city alright. I blacked out on that first helix every single time I rode. BTW, I rode in the middle of the train the first three times I rode, and I'm proud to say that I had the pleasure of riding alone in the front seat on my final ride of the day.
Which is the best seat to ride Titan in? The front or the back?
front:more airtime
back: more G's
