People, Titan is longer than Goliath! and its the largest coaster S has ever built go to A href="http://www.sixflags.com/" target=_blank>www.sixflags.com/A> if you dont believe me! so please stop bashing it!

P>I see you are one of those who are misleaded by the S statement that it was the largest coaster Six lags Inc. constructed. Six lags has their own in house construction department, just for you information. Another coaster out of the top of my mind that they constructed was Viper @ SGAm. Of course this doesn't mean that they designed the ride. They just handled the construction. Goliath, Nitro, and X-light are a few that weren't constructed by Six lags Inc. And I believe the only difference from Titan & Goliath is the additional helix pre-MCBR. Titan's 10 T higher lift if because of topography differences, both drop 255 T however. And to clear up common misconceptions, Titan is not any steeper or faster than Goliath. Both 61°, and 85 MPH./P>

Oh great, knock yourselves out ;)

I'll head the opposite way and get some milage out of Goliath, Batman and Riddler's Revenge!

And then Jerry said, "Take care of yourselves, and each other".

From those pictures Goliaths tunnel looks a lot better.  It seems themed along with the rest of the ride and with the mist it looks more mysterious.  Now while youre up on the top looking down you really dont care about the tunnel themeing but it looks better from the pictures.

Oddly, they pumped mist into the tunnel for Titan's media day, but I haven't seen them do so since then.  Maybe there's a drainage issue.  Shame.

No matter how good Goliath's theming is, imagine if Six Flags put in half the effort as disney.  Goliath with a queue like Indiana Jones would kick.

goliath's TUNNEL does look better.  however titan looks like a parking lot coaster, with no grass, terrain, no eye candy.

I notice that every time I ride Titan. The says you go 85 mph into a smoke filled tunnel, What Smoke ? i thought it was going to be relly cool, but I was a little diapointed with the entire ride at first.

Who cares?! The tunnel is a blur anyways... The drops are the SAME SFMMManiac, with Titan having an extra helix beating Goliath. So Goliath may have better themeing, Titan has a better ride. They even out, can we PLEASE drop this continuing debate. It got old back in March.

Brandon, nobody is arguing over what the better ride is. Did you read the thread, or just post after seeing it had to do with Goliath and Titan?
Interestingly enough, you've ridden only Titan, but of course you have the authority to proclaim it as the superior coaster.

Not that I'm arguing against that, I agree Titan is the better experience, but it looks like you're the one who's trying to argue.

I do heavily disagree with the blur assesment though, I think Goliath had one of the most visually pleasing drops I can imagine, particularly in the front. I remember being very aware of speeding past the mist and rock, made the speed seem incredible.

Keep in mind this thread is about the theming!! I think we can agree Titan is arguably the most powerful coaster on earth. Like I said, it's fascinating to see that Six Flag's "beauty" park didn't do much in the way of on-ride aesthetics for Titan. At least for the first 2 drops...

People people, look at my screen name, it's SFMMANIAC, not SFMMMANIAC or SFMMmaniac. TWO M's, not3. Just letting ya know;)

I doubt that that's all the themeing Titan will ever have. That land would be perfect for themeing.
