Thats Knoebels. That's the Phunn Phest. The greatest of all park run events. Last year when I went the traffic to the park was backed up about 3 miles to the park. When we got to the park the parking lot was full. Luckily everyone was at the craft show they have at that time and the park was dead. The event doesn't start until 5 so you will need to get tickets to ride before that. A day at Knoebels can get expensive paying for each ride when it's dead. Be sure to check out the swap meet near the Phoenix. People sell all kinds of park and coaster stuff. Be sure to wear a costume too. Once the Phun Phest begins everything is free except for food. Free mini golf, free rides, free Haunted Mansion, free laser tag. When you sign up they give you a coupon for 2 slices of pizza and a drink (possibly the best pizza at a park) also a coupon to play a game for free. Knoebels also gives prizes for the best costumes. After the event they have a bon fire behind Twister giving out hot dogs and marshmellows to roast. They also announce their plans for next year too. You will probably see owner Dick Knoebel driving around the park in a motor boat or bumpercar. He may have a new vehicle this year. In other words just show up and you will have a great time.
