tips for SFWOA
Hey just decided on my ohio trip next week i will be going to sfwoa and pki. i will be at sfwoa on thrusday the 29th and i was wondering if anyone had any tips for me. also i will be in the cleaveland area that wendsday night i am 20 and looking for something to do.

First you must run (whoops, can't say "run" anymore) you must walk to the X-Flight/Superman area. If you see that there is a large white fence up, go to Superman. Then head to Dipper. Next, go ask why X-Flight is down (prepare to be lied to). After this, work your way to RWB riding every coaster on the way. I may suggest riding El Dorado by the Dipper and the Twister by Batman/Thriller. Swampwater Jack's at SWO has good fajitas. The aquarium at SWO is very enjoyable and it offers good views of GLP. Rays stink.

(Note: This guy's going to the park, and he's asking for tips about going to the park. I know saying this will might provoke it, but nobody should give him the tip "don't go," which I'm sure many of you at least had intentions of doing.
Whoever said that SFWoA bashing here lately has become a sporting event hit the nail on the head, and it's also become sickening.)

Well usually the superman/big dipper/X-flight area is crowded in the morning. So go hit villain twice or even three times if its not too crowded you wont regret it is a great woody. Next hit batman knight flight and raging wolf bobs. Then head to the 50's area for the rest of the coasters. By the way matt I highly agree with you SFWOA is actually a really good park not once have I run into a mean employee or ride op. And ive been there 7 times allready.

yes, the villain area is dead in the morning, they actually let you re-ride! I got 10 rides in 1 hour, then the wait got long! DOn't skip ST, it is much smoother now.

If you can, try to get tickets to the Rock and Roll hall of Fame for Wed, night.
Yeah, I'd either split from the main entrance like people said and head over to Villain. Or you could go over to S:UE, for a short line but since you probably already rode V2 you could skip that. Also "Don't Miss Raging Wolf Bobs" (a sign say that on the Boardwalk, very funny)
X-Flight may be down and up, so I would head over to that soon as you see it running! Hopefully by then it will have the reliability of Delta Airlines instead of ValueJet. X-Flight is awesome though, and is worth the wait :)

yea i hope x-flight is open thats the reason we are going there. we have been to cp a couple of times last year but my gf really wants to ride xflight so we are making the little extra trip to fit that in for her.
IMHO the must rides are X-Flight, BKF, BIG DIPPER, and Villain. When I went on a Monday last week, all the lines were less than 10 minutes for all the coasters...except X-Flight. Minderaser (vekoma boomerang) is probally going to be closed. I recommend riding S:UE a lot of times because there is probally a long line in Chicago for V2, here it sometimes is a walk-on.
Obviously if V2 is in your screen name you really like the ride. Also, if you want to ride BD and RWB with your GF, don't put your hands u. You'll end up smacking her a couple times. For BD, you both should get your own seats so you can put up your hands, also it's an ACE classic. In addition, Double Loop isn't half bad. It is a small-sized Arrow Looper. It was the first double-looping coaster in the US. Unless you just want to add a coaster to your track record or want to touch the ground w/your hands on a coaster don't ride Roadrunner Express. Have a fun time. The coasters are pretty good, its the park management that gets the well-deserved bad rap.

SFWOA Is a good park . Some world class coasters X Flight is a must so is the villian IMO
But Nightlife before you go to the park.....HHHmmmm....Under 21 HHHmmmm .. Not a whole lot to do in cleveland.

There is plenty to do in Cleveland at any age. Check the Friday magazine in the Plain Dealer of Scene Magazine, the latter is free at thousands of locations.

If you are near the downtown area, consider going to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Also, Cleveland's Great Lakes Science Center is an excellent place to go. Plus if your looking for someplace good to eat be sure to visit the Hard rock Cafe near Jacobs Field.
is the rock and roll hall of fame open at night. also isnt the nfl hall of fame in ohio near there somewhere??

Well, BKF ad Villain are, IMO the best rides in the park. You also have to go on X-Flight, it isn't that great, but it is a very different experience, and the flying sensation is like nothing else. You have to go on BKF in the front row. The line for the front row will be really long, so you could try what I did, wait for he 2nd row and if the front only has 2 or 3 riders, take one of those seats. With your feet flying above the track the ride is even better than when you are in the middle. You also have to go on Villain in the back row, but watch out for bad graffiti in that qeuue. That's all I have to say.
