What about Jesus Christ Superstar? That rocks.
I prefer Godspell.
As of today, both are on Broadway at the same time!
As a product of a Catholic parochial school, my classes were taken many times on field trips to see the Passion Play. Not as graphic as the Gibson movie, obviously, but pretty effective nonetheless. I severely doubt I'd have any interest in a live theme park version.
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

Ok then, I concede.
A theme park owned by, inspired by, paying tribute to and loosely themed around a big-breasted mountain girl best known for her county music career is perfectly normal while a theme park based on the best selling book of all time makes no sense and is quite weird.
What was I thinking?
Now I'm off to draw up plans on a park based on the second-best selling book of all time* - The Dictionary. Got some great ideas for Prepositionland.
