Time needed for Cedar Point visit

Me and my girl friend are going to cedar point  soon.We have never been there before. We are coming from eastern Pa.How many days do You think we will need to do the entire parkWould one day be enough?or would it be better to stay 2 days?I know its huge. And what are the 3 best coasters there?(mf,raptor, magnum)
If you go on a weekday, you can enjoy every aspect of the park in one day, no problem.  And the 3 best coasters, in my opinion, are the 3 you show in parentheses.
Other "don't miss" items include Blue Streak and Cedar Downs, but for a first-time CP visit, 2 days is a definite MUST.  Even though some coasters have lost a little in the past couple years, the view from the causeway still deserves a sign: "Welcome to Nirvana, enjoy your stay."

The first time that I went to CP, I spent two whole days there. 2 days is needed to experience everything. I love coasters and I never really went to the water park or the pay attraction area and I still spent two days at CP and barely got through all of the coasters. I was never able to get more than 2 rides on a single coaster the 2 days that I was there, probably because I was in line for MF for 4 hours and suffered through 2 breakdowns and 2 rainstorms that shut the ride down. That could have caused my few multiple rides on coasters. But still, you must spend two days, not one.

You can hit all the biggies and most other things in one day if you are going during this week.  If you wait for the weekends, then I would make it two days.
Most likely we will be there for two days, well actually we will be there for two days. You just dont go form the southeastern part of Pennsylvannia to The Northeren tip of Ohio for one day. What i want to know, considering we are on a very tight buget (cause a couple of guys wanted to be stupid and steal our car well thats another story) how much $$$$ dinero, money would we need to take? Are the prices to eat there reasonable (well as reasonable as they can be for being in an amusment park)? What about the area where would be a nice reasonably priced place to stay on our first adventure together outside of PA (New Jersey dont count)?
I went for the first time 2 weeks ago. I live in
California.
I did every coaster (except Woodstock's Express and Jr. Gemini) in one day.
Only thing was that it took ALL day. I rode the last one as the Summer Spectacular started.
I would have done anything for another day, just to get another ride on MF, Magnum and Raptor!
Anything!
It is possible, perhaps more so now that Summer is almost over and people are back in school, but it can be a tight squeeze!

2 days should be good. Like others mentioned it can take 1 day to do all the coasters. Then there's the flat rides, soak city, restaraunts, shows and soaking in the ambience in general. While this site is mainly centered around coasters I think sometimes people forget there's much more to parks than just coasters.

Just for the record my wife and I once spent 4 consecutive days at the point (stayed at Sandcastle even ) and were still sad to go. CP is just a really great place.
