Not one for rumors, but hey, I love a good possibility. We heard recently that Freestyle park (Hard Rock) lit up the Beemer that they have, Time Machine and Led Zeppelin. It's a pretty much a new coaster but now classified as used.
Kentucky Kingdom recently said that they are going to construct a 7 million dollar steel coaster. Could this be the coaster they are purchasing? With Greezed Lightnin gone and the mouse coaster, this Beemer could possibly fit that spot. A long narrow plot of land.
What do you guys think? If true, this would be a huge asset for this small park.

I read a news article that once a month the maintenance staff there fires up the coasters to keep them in working condition, pulling trains out of their barns, and runs them through a run. I think until you see them taking the coaster apart, its not going anywhere soon.

2 weeks? We've been trying to move that coaster to Louisville since before the Koch family got involved!

We already determined it was going in Chang's old spot.
No we haven't.
It's not been confirmed the park is even getting it so you can't determine anything bro.

Admittedly, it is QUITE a leap of faith to infer that the HRP/FMP coaster is going anywhere at this point...and it's advancing age may be an issue. Sitting idle for SUCH an extended period means there may be unforeseen problems in deconstruction, shipment, and reconstruction...a really big gamble.
Bro.
Or Maverick...bro.

Didn't realize the news article and the discussion of a Kentucky Kingdom possibility, but regardless, Ed Hart stated the water park would double in size, so I am sure the old Chang site is out for whatever coaster they are getting.

I think I mentioned the maintenance issues with the coasters there at Freestyle, they have a crew that fire them up to keep them fit. Because of this, people often think, in the Carolinas, that the park is re-opening or leads to thoughts of new buyers for the park, but the current owners are trying to keep the rides in working order for sales possibilities.
