"Time Elevator" attraction in Baltimore question

I knew this attraction was coming to Baltimore sometime, but it wasn't until I walked down Pier 4 tonight in Inner Harbor that I noticed it.

The attraction is called "Passport: Voyage of Discovery" or I've heard it called by it's film name before, "Time Elevator." The thing is, I can't quite seem to figure out exactly what this attraction is.

I know they have several different films that play, each lasting about 20 minutes and there are supposed to be effects like wind and mist during the shows. But is it a motion seat simulator, or a 4D movie or what?

There arn't any other of these attractions open up in the US, yet, but if any of you all have been on this one in Baltimore and would like to give me your opinion that would be great. Most importantly, is it worth the $12 to go on it? I'm guessing it's not, but I'll wait to hear what others think first.

Here's the attractions website, maybe one of you all can find more info there then I could find...

If you can't stand the heights, get out of the line.

I haven't been on it, but I believe it's some sort of simulator. Not an intense one...more a movie with some mild effects. At least that's the sense I got from reading about it in the Baltimore Sun.

"How was your ride?"
Yeah, it's a simulator ride. I've been by there a few dozen times and never ridden it though, sorry!

Ya acctually they just opened the same thing by where I live in Atlantic City NJ. Its a preaty good movie. Its more of a movie then a actual ride. The story line is good and the ride aspect is even better. In Atlantic City they have opened passport voyages with three different rides.
