On average how long do you spend at a park?
When I go to a park for the first time I go and like to spend the entire day. Unless it's a tiny park with nothing spetacular, a few hours will do.
__My local park I can hit fairly quick.
At Knoebels I can have a good time in about 45 minutes on a weekday. Hit the Phoenix, Twister, Flyers, maybe the Dogems too, eat, and leave. At Hershey I can spend 2-3 hours there and get a few rides in, can never really tell somtime it's busy and others it's dead.

At Kennywood and Six Flags Ohio I spend about 4 hour and can do almost everything. On a good day, you can do everything at PKI in one day. I honestly feel you cannot enjoy everything CP has to offer in one day. There is just way too much. This includes the most daring thrillseeker as well as the non-thrillseeker. Unless you have been there before, I suggest the 2-day pass.
This question will get you a very broad range of responses.
Disney/Universal Resorts = 1 week
Cedar Point = 2.5 days
Kennywood = 5-6 hours
Idlewild = 1-2 hours (not much for grown-ups)
Alton Towers = 3
wet hours (TR coming soon)

I prefer to spend an entire day at any park I go to. If I ride all of the rides, I go back and ride them again.
Just stay all day and ride as much as possible!
I agree, stay all day and ride as much as possible.

Thank you for riding America's Roller Coast
Usually when I leave the park, it's too late to buy anything from the shops. It's really easy to find my car and the way out of the parking lot.
I guess I'm a Coasterholic, and I always want that extra ride.
SFGAdv.: Usually I'll go DURING THE WEEK and be able to get in 2 rides or all the 'big' rides (like 5 different ones)in like 6 hours. I went last Sun (kinda crowded) and did 3 laps on Medusa in a little under 2 hours. That includes parking and walking time (I parked in PREFERRED parking area or it would have been like 3 hours!) It would take ALL day/night to do all the rides on the weekend! The lines can be VERY long (like 1 to 2 hours each-YIKES!)!!!
SixFlagsGAmer: Could be a quick day trip (8 hours) to ride all the coasters twice but, when I was there the ride ops were very SLOW and I was lucky to get in 1 ride on each coaster.
Dorney Park: Just a few hours to hit the coasters (maybe even twice), if you like the water rides spend the entire day and night.
Hershey Park: Like SFGAdv. AVOID this place on the weekends. It can even be really bad during the week. It's the closest park to me and I go there maybe 3 times a year (not very much)! I'd say it would take the whole day if you want to ride everything. The lines can be 1-2 hours long.
Kennywood: You can do a quick 1 hour trip to ride Steel Phantom (well, Phantom's Revenge, hopefully.). Spend the day if you want to ride all the coasters twice or a few hours if you want to ride them once.
