TimbersFest '04 announced at Michigan's Adventure

Unlike previous years where the event was held on a Saturday and Sunday, TimbersFest '04 is scheduled for Friday, June 18 and Saturday, June 19 at Michigan's Adventure. This year's TimbersFest brings exclusive ride time on both days, Friday evening and Saturday morning. The event is open to card-carrying members of roller coaster clubs, including CoasterBuzz Club.

I'd really, really love to go this year to TimbersFest...I truly regretted not being able to go last season. It's always a great event with a lot of ERT and a lot of fun people there to enjoy it with. Hopefully this season I can get time off from that other CF park in Ohio to attend ;).

My son specifically asked to go this year after declining for two years straight. He and his GF had such a good time the day we went last summer that he's looking forward to going this year.

Now...can I convince his GF's parents that their daughter is safe on an overnight trip with us?

I'm sure Kara will agree with me as I say that this is just the perfect excuse I was looking for to get myself out there for some good time Michigander partying. And about time too!! :-)

I have only been to a few gatherings, and this years Timbersfest kicked a$$ for one reason, and sucked for another. It kicked a$$ because there were maybe 50 people there at the fullest, and only about 35 would actually be in line riding, since it had 2 trains the middle seats were almost always were empty. But The Trick Track really plain sucks, it isn't fun and hurts.

The trick track is one of the elements I love about Timbers.

They were having problems with the trick track specifically during TF '03...I assure you it is not normally that way and it was taken care of immediately after they first discovered the problem at the event this past season.

I've had my CB Membership for around 8 months now, and I never took advantage of the advantages (besides ad-free CB)... looks like I'll have to renew that membership for this one ;)
