Eh I was just there this weekend and you can get into the Thunderhead gap area. YOu can ride the Lumberjack lifts and what not. They were testing Timber-r-r-r Tower while we were there. It looks like a fun ride.
Thanks for the shout out , I wasn't sure about the area

My friend took some pictures of Timber-r-r Tower and the scenery around the area. It is really themed nicely.
For what it's worth, Huss has tweaked the ride and it now falls 5 degrees more (that's about 4 feet) and spins much faster than at media day. The effects are all now in synch as well.

It is still a family thrill ride, but it is now a bit more thrilling. If you have a 10 year old, it is awesome - if you are an adrenaline junkie Thundrehead is right next door.

Dollywood! The Smoky Mountain Family Adventure
Thats cool news about TT. Pete, are the water effects random? I noticed last sunday that sometimes people were completely drenched with water (like me), and sometimes no one got wet. I really love the beavers - they are too cool! Great job with the theming. The whole area is beautiful, landscaping, everything.

One more thing Pete, can you give us on here some sneak previews of the 2007 ride? Anything at all, pretty please???????

I'm sorry, but that just SCREAMS for one of my out of context quotes.

Wow - ROTFL. I'm sooo gay.

I hate to be the one to tell you but unless you're a woman saying you "love beavers" is pretty much the antithesis of "gay." ;)
