Timber tower

I got a chance to ride timber tower and I thought it was boring.

Post comments about it.

I thought it looked pretty boring to begin with... like an average Huss revolution where you are facing the inside. It's actually not thrilling at all for me. Still it looked unique and fun..

Was it thrilling at all?

It was fun but in a non thrilling way.

less thrilling than ten. tornado, thunder head, and even blazing fury.

But still fun

Just watch for the beavers! They are sneaky and will spray you with water:)

Sorry but due to the definitions of 'boring' and 'fun' one cannot experience both at the same time. Please explain...I am confused as to how someone is able to be bored and yet simultanesouly have fun.

Thanks!

It has good theming but it is not thrilling.

It would be a great ride if it had a (much) more intense program. *** Edited 7/24/2006 12:37:45 AM UTC by the voyager***

I'm still trying to remember when Huss ever made a Revolution? The answer--they didn't. That's the Chance/Morgan park version of the KMG Afterburner with two more sweeps. Huss makes the Frisbee and the closest comparison would be the Giant Frisbee.
I got to ride it the when it was supposed to be closed. Anyone remember when it was supposed to be closed for 2 weeks. Well, it actually was only 1 week and 2 days lol. It has really really good scenery. It's not the most thrilling ride at Dollywood, but it's still something cool to experience. I would say personally if you ride it with a friend, or stranger lol, that will make you laugh and enjoy yourself then it makes it even more fun. It's not fast paced neither does it make you sick. Basically a good family ride. The only negative thing about it is, the water jets aren't synch. with the ride operation so it's not sure that you will get "soaked" like the sign says. It was funny because whenever it did spray people the operators celebrated like they've never seen it before. *** Edited 7/24/2006 3:26:01 AM UTC by Jigga0687***

My bad. I'm thinking of one called Revolution.

Thanks ,Intamin Fan, for yet again clearing up one of my weeknesses. You're just a lifesaver.

That would be weaknesses and you're welcome! You are right though, there is a transplanted Huss Frisbee called Revolution at SFGAm. Like any good flatride, your experience can vary due to the ride program. The ride program on Revolution when it was at Great Adventure was pretty good, but the program at Fiesta Texas blows it out of the water. We did not get the chance to experience Revolution to see if they had tweaked the ride program at all, because it was being held up by chains and on blocks.

I don't think the Tower Toppler was ever supposed to be a high thrill ride. I seem to remember the North American rep from Huss saying that the Tower Toppler wasn't very exciting. Well, whether or not you like them, they've sold a whole bunch, and you might see more pop up in the states in coming years. It's the perfect kind of ride (I would imagine) for a park like HW or BGE.

You're one witty poster, Intamin Fan, but you're alright.

I think Intamin Fan is right, they aren't meant to be an intense thrill ride at all. I would say its something the family can ride together.

Yes I agree that it is a family ride.

But is it a fun family ride or a boring family ride? ;)
If its a family ride I guess every Six Flags Park should get one immediately. Maybe they could incorporate diaper changing tables in between the seats so the whole family can experience it together. ;)
I'm winking so hard I'm afraid my nose is gonna bleed....
