Thunderhead approaching its April 3 debut at Dollywood

Thunderhead, a wooden roller coaster constructed of 700,000 board feet of Southern yellow pine, is the star attraction of Dollywood's new adventure area, Thunderhead Gap, which debuts when the park opens for the season April 3.

Looks like an awesome layout and potentially could become one of the best woodies out there.

Hey all i just thought that i would post my comments just now after

riding the Thunderhead...this is one of the best "woodies" that i have been on ...the speed the air time are just amazing... I would recommend that everyone come and take a ride on the Thunderhead...... now lets " LET THE THUNDER ROLL"
