Thunderbolt Reopening?

When is Kennywood's Thunderbolt reopening? I have a visit planned for June 6th, but I haven't heard anything on when it is reopening.

I don't think that it will be open for the 6th. I believe an article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette stated that Kennywood is shooting for a mid-June reopening. Seems like a long time to have one the country's best coasters "out of order" if you ask me. I suppose it is worth it though; after all, without the closure "Phantom's Revenge" would not have been possible!

I'am making my first trip to Kennywood on June the 11th and I'am not counting on T Bolt being open. It is a big disappointment for me. I was looking forward to riding it as much as Phantoms Revenge. Oh well, nothing I can do about it. I think Kennywood should have been a little better prepared. They have a top 10 coaster out of duty for several months, that is not acceptable even though it is done for Phantoms Revenge. I have heard it has something to do with the ground being unstable now in the trench where PR passes underneath T Bolt. Isnt this a problem that could have been forseen? What are they doing about it currently anyway? I havent heard of any work being done on or around T Bolt to get it ready?
