Thunder Eagle getting new home for 04

I've just recently heard of this coaster, Thunder Eagle, and I see that it was built in 2000, and is now moving, just 3 years later. Anyone ridden it? It looks pretty decent. Anyone know why it's moving to Canada?

Edit: Just saw that it was dormant from 2001-2003

Edit 2: Just saw that the park closed in 2001.

That now leads me to, why did the park install a coaster 1 year before closing, (I understand that they didn't know they would be closing in a year, but still, they had to have known that business wasn't going so well.)

The place went bankrupt , so it was just left there.From what I heard , it was pretty boring.

This topic has came up several times within the last Three Months.

And, "Race World" was not really a park. It was just a Giant arcade with Go-Cart tracks. The place was doing badly because it was not out on the main strip in Pigeon Forge, so the owners added a coaster to make buisness pick up. That didn't work, so, eventually, like Thrillerman1 said, caused it to close.

Thunder Eagle was smooth, but it was also flat. The only thing to enjoy was the speed. No Air-Time at all.

Will not be missed now that Dollywood is installing there woodie, just a mile down the road.
