...some are saying because of the smaller flat lcd screen it actually looks better

explain why it matters in any way how a game that only plays on a system with a built-in small screen wouldn't look as good on a larger screen, that there is no way of displaying it on...to point out that in theory, if it were displayed on a screen which it can never be displayed on, it wouldn't look as good as it does?? dude, that's messed up.
It sure is. :)
I bathe in the sweet essence of contradiction.
I tried playing some more, but this is really a kiddie game. Maybe it's because of ten years of RCT, maybe it's because it's way too cartoony and not realistic, maybe I just hate having to turn on my PS2. Or maybe I'm annoyed that I couldn't find my controller, and bought it to mess with this game, only to have it suck.

moneybags jeff's 37" HDTV
Classic line... love it! Man... I can afford a 42" HDTV (720p), but I'm far from "moneybags"... they're just affordable now!

ANYWAY, I think Id rent this game before getting it, or wait until its 14.99 or less, it looks mildly entertaining, but if its as kiddy as some say, id almost rather have the xbox version of RCT if I really wanted a console coaster game.
**yipes, didn't realize I was ressurecting such an old topic, lol, just clicked the link from the newer one, ah well** *** Edited 12/28/2006 6:32:07 PM UTC by P18***
The mini missions and guest interaction are annoying. I would take the frustration of building a coaster on the PC platform, failing many times, and finally enjoing the satisfaction of building a solid ride.
If you like sims...this game sucks. If you like to play games that do not require any creativity or planning purchase this. Otherwise STAY AWAY!
It's nice that the RCT3 software was not a total loss for atari, and that the problems with it's performance has been addressed in order to create this little diversion.
If you want to build and ride coasters, even on a laptop, No Limits is the best way to go anyway.
Edit-I want to add that it is now $29.99 at Best Buy, regular price.
