Thriller @ SFAW?

OK, I was looking at the IAAPA pics and I stumbled upon this picture, Thriller Car. Umm, I went to RCDB and looked for this coaster, why isn't it there? Is SFAW suppose to get a new coaster for next year?

I believe that Thriller was the original name for Texas Tornado. These were the trains (as the sign in the pic says) that were designed by Schwarzkopf and were placed on the coaster at the beginning of this season. The trains were very unsuccessful and the ride was closed for the remainder of the season while SF explored options for the ride.

The trains themeselves were fine.  The problem lied within the Schwarzkopf OTSR which the "gap" between the bars was too large for the material used.  This was a design flaw on the part of Schwarzkopf GMBH, and not Astroworld or Six Flags. 

 

Schwarzkopf is currently working on a fix.
