I was really hoping to get on during the Con sine it's the one left standing.....maybe it'll be open next time in LA....and if I'm REALLY lucky, I'll even get to ride Flashback....and maybe even that tall new coaster that's supposed to flip riders through the course...;). The "options" for riding certainly add something IMO. Of course, I'd go right for the "absolutely insane mode"....

Does SFMM scharge 2 bucks more for the insane modes?

Speedy - when Thrillshot was open all "modes" were the same price and they also offered a combo deal for a ride of any 2 programs. Its been quite a while since I rode it so I don't rememeber the costs, sorry.

I was there a couple a days ago on a bright perfect sunny day. There was a sign outside of thrill shot that said it was closed due to weather conditions. That was a obvious lie!

Right. I'd expect them to put a sign up saying that it was closed because its twin in Ohio collapsed in high winds.

But they got a new aparatus with the seats on it didn't they? Why would they go through the hassle of making modifications to the ride if they were never going to open it? Are there plans of ever opening the ride again? What do people think?

Speedy... I think it is suppoused to be spelled like that. Theres a lot of misspelled stuff in Ghost Town that is intentional. I guess cowboys didn't go to school, even with the schoolhouse in Ghost Town.

No...It's $15 for two shots, any mode of your choice

It really isn't that great of a ride, frankly. I rode VertiGo before it fell down, and it's more mile than your average spaceshot.

Speedy, I won a piece of *Goastrider* track....'nuff said about "knott" being able to spell...;).

I'll second Jeff's sentiments: Thrillshot was fun but not all that thrilling.
