Three new DC Superhero movies are in the works!!

I'm getting very excited, having just read this article [link at the bottom]. One brand new Superman movie is in the works and so are 2 brand new Batman themed films, starring Catwoman and Wonder Woman. Does anyone remember when Batman & Robin released, the same year B&R: Chiller was built...perhaps the Six Flags parks will be looking forward to new rides and coasters themed to these 3 films when they release: http://aol.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,9526,00.html

Make it to SFNE for S:Ros and BDK!!!!

They sould invest in a Green Lantern flying coaster.

Any new Batman movie = HORRIBLE after what they did with the Batman and Robin movie. I'm sorry, but it was terrible and i'm surprised they're gonna make another.

Superman = Would be cool with the special effects we have now, but a ride would be pointless.

I guess that means new names for Six Flags coasters.

Oh no... Let's just hope they get Tim Burton back for these 2 movies!!! Joel Schumacher did a barely ok job with Batman Forever (and only because of the cast!) and absolutely blew up Batman in Batman&Robin.

I wouldnt be surprised to see "The Flash" used for a coaster in the future ;)

WCUSA-The World's largest theme park is coming!
Theme parks will NEVER be the same!

Batman Beyond would make a terrific theme for a ride(x clone or flying coaster since batman beyond can fly) In the show the batcave has has props from all Batman's old enemies displayed(Two faces coin riddler's ? mark cane ect) as well as the suits of Batman Batgirl Robin and Nightwing walkin thru a que line themed to this bat cave would make a great pre ride experience

Flash would also make for a good coaster theme if the ride were a launced ride to simulate his speed and with the new Justice League show on cartoon network it may be a possibilty soon

You could easily theme a TA2K to Flash, and a 4D, Flyer, or floorless to Batman Beyond

Darren Aronofsky, the guy who directed "Pi" & "Requiem for a Dream" is supposedly signed on the direct the next Batman movie. If so, I think you may eat your words. He's quickly becoming my favorite director. Both those movies rock, big time (but don't watch Requiem unless you can easily contain your emotions...unless you like depressing movies)

Current favorite coasters:
Wooden: 1) Beast 2) Raven 3) Son of Beast 4) The Boss 5) Timber Wolf
Steel: 1) Raging Bull 2) Millennium Force 3) V2 4) Wild Thing 5) Mr. Freeze

I think because of these movies, we can possibly count on seeing super heroes where there are no super heroes. Such as SFGAdv and Superman? or SFDL and Batman perhaps. Who knows...

They're using a lot of super heroes this upcoming years for movies. There's Spiderman, Blade 2, X-Men 2, Spiderman 2, Blade 3, Hulk, Dare Devil, Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Batman: Year One, Another Batman movie, and much much more. For more movies try http://www.countingdown.com

Dont forget about Ghostrider with Nic Cage in summer of 2003
This is all well and good (I'll be seeing Spider-Man tomorrow myself), but it's really not coaster related. There's a vague tie-in with Six Flags having the rights to the DC characters, but that's pretty tangential. Sorry.
