Thoughts on S:ROS accident
hey, i may be wrong, and this may come out sounding extremely stupid and whatnot, but i've been doing some SERIOUS thinking. what are your theories on the S:ROS collision?]
honestly, something doesn't seem right here. those systems are designed so redundant that it shoudl not have failed. the only explaination i may have is sabotage. It happens all the time, just not to parks (that we know of) i mean, call me nuts, but Markey really wants legislation passed on rides. Perhaps he paid off SFI, or maybe just even a maintainence guy to sabotage the ride. who knows :-/
All i know for sure is, Six Flags normally would close down all the rest of the similar rides (which we all know there's a lot of similar rides at six flags parks) but in this case, the other S:ROS's stayed open. i'm not saying this sabotage theory is truthful, but i'd just like to get some thoughts on this. otherwise, we may never see another intamin hyper at a six flags park. :(
that would be such a sad day, Intamin is my favorite steel firm.

If it make you feel any better, when I went this morning S:ROS @ SFA was closed :(. The red train was parked on the final brakes and the blue train was on the transfer track. There was NOBODY even near the ride. I may stop back through in a couple of hours (for closing) so I'll tell y'all what I see.

Sabotage is an unlikely cause of the crash. The most likely causes are a programming problem, or a problem with the rubber tire brakes that provide the final slowing after the magnetic brakes.
Some people look WAY too far into this... Sabotage? You've been watching too many conspiracy flicks.

You know, it's just an idea a friend and I came up with. Government does it all the time. it's not impossible. And, NO...i don't watch conspiracy flicks. yes, there's corruption in our government, get used to it.
it's just sad to see so many people with something in common not getting along. it was something i came up with, but you have to riddicule me for it and treat me like a pile of crap, yet the second it becomes true or whatnot, you'll be like "see, I told you!!"
