But where did you get airtime on Pegasus? I rode in the very front and back on it, and only got laterals, not any noticable air. It was fun, none the less.
Too bad I won't get a chance to ride any in the dark until next season, when I go next (22nd, anyone gonna be there?) I don't want to chance having the park close early and being ripped off 32 bucks for 2 or 3 hours, so we are going in the morning instead. Next season I will be able to drive there myself, and can ride at night if I want! That will rocks!

Hey, SFGAm management, can I buy a couple cages of Sky Whirl?

Villain - eh. Nothing outstanding.
Cheetah - Best Woodie I've been on.
I guess it's a matter of taste.
But on to the topic of the thread - I've also got Raven, Legend, Cheetah, Ghostrider, and TS: Lola and Stella. Twisted Sisters definitely ranks as the weakest CCI for me, but the constant squeaking and screeching indiciated, to me at least, more a lack of upkeep than poor construction. Of course Im biased, ALL other CCI's I've ridden were fantastic, nothing less.

Shivering Timbers is my favorite wooden coaster
Villain is fun but not my favorite
Zach’s Zoomer is a good family coaster
I plan to get to get to Holiday World to ride Raven and Lengend to see how sweet they are for my self.

Zach's Zoomer : A great little junior coaster. More parks need something like this!
Shivering Timbers : Great airtime on every hill with one incredibly powerful helix at the end to top it all off. Incredible!
Villain : In my opinion, the best ride at SFWoA (though I haven't ridden RWB or BD).
Legend : Long and powerful. This sucker screams through its tunnels and turns, and has some nice spots of airtime along the way.
Raven : Great airtime on the second hill, and the "through-the-woods" aspect (which I love on any coaster) is perfect. Could be a bit longer, but awesome nonetheless.

I have yet to go on a CCI, but hopefully one will come to my home state Texas next year! Both SFAW and SFFT need a new wooden roller coaster BADLY, and a CCI is just what Texas needs.
From all that I can tell (have NOT been able to confirm, but I keep trying), a SF park in Texas, SFAW I seem to remember, was the park that had a contract with CCI for a mid-sized ride. From my experience, CCI can do a LOT more with a <100' lift hill than most companies. Anyway, rumors circulated after the park "backed out", and Wild Adventures, 100 miles from my front door, got what I believe was THAT ride, renamed as Cheetah! About 3000' long, nice out-and-back with a "figure-8 finale". Enough for my opinions on to THE FACTS: Denise Dinn-Larrick, president of CCI, is the daughter of Charlie Dinn (ever hear of Summers-Dinn).
Well, Summers-Dinn coasters were once THE thrill-rides of the wooden genre. Most of their rides have been toned-down over the years and lost some or most of their original luster (see: Mean Streak, RWB, TX Giant, Hercules, etc.) Even the Legendary Beast was a Cherlie Dinn creation). Denise seems to have learned more than a little from the old man, and CCI's woodies deserve all the rave reviews they get. Is there such a thing as a "coaster-designer's gene?). If you haven't ridden a CCI, GET TO IT! Also, CCI's don't seem to require "taming" over the years. Cannot say enough about the company, the way they work through the existing landscape, build an exciting AND affordable even in a compact space. Have you SEEN the reviews for Cornball - the name may be corny, but from what I hear, the ride is "No Bull".

rollergator - intent on improving the "guest experience" - coming soon to a park near you
This thing is just incredible! It has me questioning my thoughts about The Beast. I have to ride it at night to make up my mind.

Raven -- A king among coasters
Legend -- One of the wildest rides out there
Villain -- Best ride at SFWoA, and one of my favorite woodies.
Twisted Sisters -- Good, but not the best
Sky Princess -- Cute little coaster, a good sign of what was to come ;)

My page My other page And my coaster page
Raven - excellent air, great end speed. I can't wait until SRM next year to ride it at night!
Legend - powerful ride with lots of laterals. Looking forward to a night ride here, too.
Cyclops - the fact that the big drop is near the end of the course is a great change of pace, something to look forward to during the ride. The air at the back of the train is nice.
Zeus - good air here, especially on the small bunny hill near the end, and excellent laterals on the turnaround.
Zach's Zoomer - really fun junior coaster. The lack of a seat divider lets you fly all over with the excellent laterals.
But the king is:
Shivering Timbers - excellent air in the back, but EXTREME AIR in the front seat. If you want to fly, this is the place to do it. The ending helix is a major buzz.

Number one is Raven- love teh out of control feeling
2. Legend- hey its a mini beast
3. Zeus- night ride is awesome teh best out and back i have ever rode
4. Cornball - how in the world do tehy pack so much into such a small ride?
5. Cyclops - Same for this one and teh air on that last drop is just unbeliveable.
6. Hoosier Hurricane - I love the double up and teh dive under teh boardwalk
7. Pegasus - Never had so much fun on a "family" coaster, the laterals are just great and teh air on the first hill is surprising.
8 and 9. Twisted Sisters, great laterals no air, love the dueling aspect though.
Like I say, CCI can't build a bad coaster.
