This is to cool. Son and father re-create the family truckster.

Thanks for the link, Charles.

To me, the Vacation movies come in two types: comedic gold, and funny movies. Vacation and Christmas Vacation are comedic gold, and easily both make my list of "must see comedies" the other two, while they both are quite funny are not nearly as good but are quite welcome in my DVD collection.

The only vacation movies that really make the "meh" list are European and Cousin Eddie's whatever. Vegas is damn near every bit as good as the original and Christmas. I think Christmas might be my favorite because we watch it so much every year during the holidays, so I kind of know it like the back of my hand.

Here is my ranking of the Vacation movies.

1. Vacation
2. Vegas Vacation
3. Christmas Vacation
4. European Vacation
5. Never saw the Uncle Eddie vacation movie and don't plan too unless it pops up On Demand for free.

I like Charle's idea. That vacation company website that bought the re-made truckster should possibly rent it out to others after they are done promoting with it. SFMM should definitely use it at their entrance as a promotional piece.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

The "Uncle Eddie" movie is actually Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure.

Never saw it myself and have no desire, but it's notable for the return of Dana Barron (Audrey in the original Vacation) in the role of Audrey - the only actor to repeat in one of the children parts.

Check it out.
