Think PKI will Extend it's season into November again?

With Cedar Fair driving PKI now, Im actually wondering if they will finish the season up this year on the first weekend in November again....

like they have in the past, what, 5 years?

The website says October 29th is the last day.
On October 30th it says "Closed for the Season...See you next Year"

I don't think the calender would be wrong.

Not yet, if they do, it'll probably be announced once FearFest gets into swing.

I think we've already found out a couple times this season that websites aren't always in synch with park/coroprate policy. Something tells me the webmasters/programmers are often among the last people identified as "need to know" personnel... ;)

Do any of the CF parks have that "last operating day" after Halloween. The only seasonal park I've been to after Halloween would be SFoG. WA and SFMM operate year-round, but on weekends only during the "Winter".

Did any of the formerly Paramount parks dfo that? IIRC, PGA didn't. Maybe PCar?

From what I remember in the past, they're calendar always says, "Closed For Season" after October 31st. That first week of November has always been sort of an unannounced "freebie" week.

The difference now is that Cedar Fair is in charge, so we'll have to wait and see.

I agree, and I don't see Cedar Fair letting PKI be open a weekend longer than CP, unless they want competition to the end with some IN and KY parks.

That's the dumbest logic ever. If they can profit from it, they'll do it. It's not about competing with parks two states away. It's not a game.

I sure hope that they open for that extra weekend. Its kind of a new tradition to go for the last rides of the season there.

The final weekends are always really crowded, and they discount a bunch of merchandise to clear out stuff from the season, gives them less stuff to warehouse for the offseason.
