There's more than one mouse in the house...

I have stated repeatedly here on the 'buzz "if it's not Reverchon, it's JUST a mouse".  Well, I now stand corrected, as Maurer-Sohne has apprently entered the fray with a spinning mouse of their own. Check out this link from ECC:

I forgot all about that one. I see three things about it that I don't think I'd like.

First, I don't see any blocks! How do you run multiple cars? Second, what makes the Reverchon model so cool is that you're outside of the center of rotation, a little more like a Tilt-a-Whirl. Those cars looked too balanced around the center. Third, it's the relatively flat hairpins that get you spinning enough to really screw you up before the hills.

This is not to say I wouldn't get on one right now if I could. ;)

"As far as I can tell it doesn't matter who you are. If you can believe, there's something worth fighting for..." - Garbage, "Parade"

Even so, that high-banked turn looks insane!

You can't spell "dishonorable" without "honorable."
Looks like a cross between a Swartzkopf like Wildcat at CP and a Mouse, cool

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

Jeff...if you check out the other pics you can see blocks in pic #4.
I have had the pleasure of riding a Maurer-Sohne mouse and was QUITE surprised!  Here's my picture: http://www.coastergallery.com/japan/K06.html

It was a really fun ride, bnut very different from the Reverchron ones we know.,  It doesn't freely spin (like the Externimator.)  You traverse the hairpin turns without any change in the direction you're facing.  (Does that make sense?)  It provided a VERY unique sensation!

Mouse fans:  I think this may be the most intense mouse ever built.  http://www.coastergallery.com/japan/FH15.html It blew me away.  The tight layout looks like something built on RCT, and the turns are taken at very high speed.  Note the speed bump halfway through the top layer.

Those sure are some wild mice, Peabody!  Can't wait until the lawyers and politicians ease up enough to let us get a ride like that over on this side of the sea.

BTW, did anyone else see this insane looking turn?  Looks like it belongs on an Intamin ride!  http://www.coasterclub.org/en/photos/56-spinningracer/img_2.shtml

Is it possible that Super Smash Brothers Melee is TOO much fun?
