You can't make this stuff up people. Someone is actually asking The White House and the POTUS to step in.

What's an amusement parka? Some sort of entertainment device/apparel hybrid?
13 Boomerang, 9 SLC, and 8 B-TR clones
And the spelling and grammar over there are just as bad, especially in the comment section.

Some folks just can't let things go, see CLPark
There is no such thing as a terrible Coaster just ones that haven't been taken care of
I love the "There are many ... coasters in our country that have been around for centuries... many of them from well over 50 years ago just sit and slowly decay...." bit. A.H. doesn't seem to have a firm grasp on what a century is.

The petitioner seems to be slightly confused as to how long a century is.
edit:
Oops, Slith. Overlap.
I understand "GEAUGA" might be difficult for some to spell/pronounce. But at least look it up before you submit the petition.
The amusement park rises bold and stark..kids are huddled on the beach in a mist

A long, concealing garment that allows you to "amuse yourself" in secret while thinking of classic wooden coasters.
How does one implement some of America's history? Doesn't matter. Just do it for the children.

I was/am about the biggest Geauga Lake fan there is. I loved that park with all my heart. But man, people just really don't have a clue. I don't know how these folks are able to put on their drawers and go out into the world each day.
As for the "save Geauga Lake" mentality - I just don't understand what these people want. It's not as if the place is just sitting waiting for someone to mow the grass and flip the switches back on like Kentucky Kingdom was. I'm all about saving the rainforest, but I'm not going to stage a sit in to save a plot of forest where the trees are down and the mall is already open. Sure, it would have been nice if Big Dipper had found a home or if Cedar Fair had incorporated it into the waterpark. But it didn't. And it sure ain't gonna happen now. I'm not sure what these people honestly believe is a realistic outcome at this point.
