Theme Parks '09 - It's A Recession

I must strongly suggest you hit up BGE, not only is that park second to none north of Orlando, this is probably your last chance to ride Big Bad Wolf, the best suspended in this country. If you do go, be sure to do a night ride, no ride save the Beast is aided as well as BBW is by twilight.

Yeah, definitely keep in mind there's more to 'value' than just the price on the gate.

Gotta agree with Touchdown on all points. BGE is worth full price admission, in my opinion, especially if you've never been there before. Currently I have no plans to go this year (I was there a couple years ago, and usually don't make it there but every few years), but I'm not so sure I want to miss riding BBW a couple more times for posterity.

Shoot. Our summer is already full...but we are driving to OBX. Maybe my better half will be up for a side trip to recapture her DC-area youth with a ride on BBW.

Another option you have is the Multi-Park ticket good for 7 consecutive days at Busch Gardens and Water Country for $69.95. Even if you aren't into water parks, 70 bucks for 7 days to come and go as you please at Busch Gardens sounds like a steal. Even if you only do a long weekend, it's still a great value.

I'm doing Busch and KD for the first time in two weeks and I can't wait! I'll be glad to get BBW in this year if it does close.
