"It's freakin' America"? Since when did constitutional rights apply to the World Wide Web?
I believe Jeff does it because the webmaster over there used to spam this site.
A funny thing I should mention. I was banned from TPR because another member sent me incriminating photographs of past criminal activity via PM in reference to the webmaster, and because I didn't report it to the webmaster, he banned me for being an accomplice. Ha.
You see, Jeff is providing information and a place to communicate for readers of CoasterBuzz, not that other site. I hope that makes sense to you.
Do whatever you want, but it's just plain lame. Maybe I'm just too much of a Hippie.
I'm not a big fan of TPR for various reasons, but still enjoy some of their pics and vids.
I'm not keen on being a member of special clubs though.
Well, I know they did some crappy stuff, and people did crappy things.
Have any of you ever done anything 'wrong'? Were you forgiven? Were you made to PAY or be punished for all those things?

Yes, call me clueless, I finally read the rules. Just a little baffled, upset and 'scared'. Clockwork Orange, Futureworld, THX 1138, 1984, seem too familiar.
If this is such a serious problem for you, and you feel you have been wronged, it may be a better idea to contact Jeff, or one of the moderators, directly.

I'm pretty sure the reason for the censorship is simply to maintain good relationships with parks, not simply for censorship sake. Things have happened in the past, and if Jeff thinks it will keep the club in good standing with the parks, that's a pretty good reason.
Although in your case your message was edited, it's the same scenario. I just read through the TOS again, and it takes all of five-minutes. It's not like most software licenses that take an hour or more to read, and make little sense because of all the lawyer talk.
There aren't many websites that don't have some kind of agreement that you need to sign-up for. When I signed-up for eBay and PayPal recently, both of those sites had rules and regulations I had to read through.
For instance, the PayPal agreement was twenty-six pages long! Did I read through the whole thing and print it out? Absolutely.
It's not like a specific site like I Love Six Flags Great Adventure (Made up site), but rather general like this site.
TPR has been filtered from this site for as long as I can remember (and this spring will be 7 years for me - I'm a lifer :) ).
It has nothing to do with competition or disrespect or whatever weird drama anyone wants to create.
I'm putting words in Jeff's mouth here and I'm sure he'll come along and clear it up if I'm off base, but it's a simple as past actions that the folks over there have taken that Jeff doesn't want to be associated with - along with a pretty steady barrage of spamming over the years.
Simple as that. It's just something Jeff feels he doesn't want to be associated with.
Even more simple - if you don't like it, leave. (and preferrably delete your account on the way out to keep things nice and neat :) )
