Theme Park Sales

I had recently posted asking if anyone would be interested in having a website or catalogue type thing of all the websites selling coaster related items. That way rather than searching hundreds of sites you could just check this one site. My question however is that I want to show pictures of the items for sale but it is probaby against copyright laws to simply copy and paste the picture of the item on their website. What can I do to get around this and still shwo a picture of all the items. Also would it be legal if I used the picture but gave credit to the site where I got it. Would that make it legal? *** Edited 5/20/2006 2:23:12 PM UTC by MAGXL200***

The Only Thing Worst Then Dieing, Is Living And Having Nothing Worth Dieing For.
Giving someone credit for using a picture you don't have permission for doesn't help... It doesn't change the fact you don't have permission. This is asking for trouble (and besides that, is just plain wrong) especially if you're charging for the product that uses the copywritten material.

My suggestion is that you either acquire permission from all the respective rights holders or give up on your scheme. I have to say it sounds interesting but I don't really see the market for it, especially given the amount of daily upkeep it would take you to keep it current.

And if it's not updated daily, it seems it wouldn't be of much value to the few people who might actually need it.
