Theme park group looks just outside Nashville for new park

Posted | Contributed by Chad Kelly

Themeparks, LLC is considering a location off of a main highway east of Nashville for a "Thrillopolis" theme park. Local residents think it would be good for their economy, but may cause traffic problems.

Yea, the Steel Phantom was the first thing I saw. I couldn't get the video the first run through.
Well if they can't find suitable land outside of Nashville, we have plenty in East Tennessee to accommodate a park. :)

janfrederick, missed you at SFMM/KBF...next time. Oh, and I have NO doubts that "under new management", SF could turn things around pretty quickly. Besides, what would I do with a $25M bonus....I guess I could rent a park for a couple hours for all my CB friends...:).

Well, if they are considering building in Wilson County, that is a good area to place a themepark. BUT, with Nashville Shores a mere 2 exits from the Mt. Juliet Road exit, I dont see how a waterpark can thrive there as well.

BTW, Kristina's grandmother lives at that exit and I have joked many times that I was gonna take the 100 acres of lands she has and build a park there.. what irony! ;)

Not a single Arrow to be found :(

Does anyone know exactly where those models are located?

Yep too close to Nashville Shores, that's why they should look north of Nashville (near me). :)

Nashville Shores...man I hate the voice in their commercials!
