Theme park question...

I'm curious as to what most enthusiasts do when they go to a park.

How many of you go to an park for a full theme park experience? That includes coasters, flatrides, arcades, shows and general park atmosphere.

How many of you go mainly for coasters only? That means generally you go from coaster to coaster to coaster, with little regard for other things happening at the park(except lunch and bathroom breaks).

Life's too short! Let's go ride some coasters! *** This post was edited by Simcoaster on 1/12/2001. ***
I go mainly for coasters. After the coasters are ridden, I ride the ones I liked best over again. After that, I ride one or two flats. Then, I ride the coasters again.

Jack, who can't wait for Opening Day 2001...
I really matters if you have a season pass or not. If you are going to a park on a one time a year basis my main goal is to hit all of the coasters once then make another lap around the park hitting the rest of the attractions, flat rides and shows. Oops I said shows the only downfall to going to park with my wife.
First things first, I always gotta ride the new coaster of the year first. Then hit the other coasters before anything else. After the big coasters are ridden I hop to the kiddie coasters where we somtimes have to borrow other peoples kids to ride.
Some people probably think were nuts walking up to parents and asking them if we could borrow their kids to ride a tiny kiddie coasters. Most parerents actually let us. It helped us get on Jr. Gemini at CP and Woodstock Express at Dorney.
I rarely go in the arcades or see the show unless it's super hot or it's a nasty thunderstorm.

To a park like Dorney or a Six Flags park I usually go for the coasters, but for a park like IOA or a disney park it is for both coasters and other rides.

Coasters, flat rides, and the food. Sometimes the arcade, but usually skip the shows. It also depends on what everyone else wants to do.

I usually try to hit all the coasters first, then I reride the ones I liked the most. Then if there are any drop towers or flat rides that look interesting, I go for those. I usually try to time my day so that I can watch the live shows and such while I eat.

Well, when I am with my buds it is strictly coasters and arcades, but if I take my daughter then it is some coasters, kiddie area, flat rides, arcades, and shows. It all depends on the people I am with. Personally I like all of it.

Phoenix-A great town and a great coaster
I go for coasters and flat rides. I go for shows because during that i go on rides. That saves up line waits
Usually coasters but when I went to Kennywood I had to ride Aero360.
Anything, as long as I'm having fun. But I usually make a list in my mind of what we are going on first and then whats next and so on. Try to get the best rides first to make sure I get on them.

Six Flags Great America #1 Park!!! AOL Im ScreenName : RollrCoastr00
Depends on the park.

I hit SFO two or three times a week, so it all varies.

But, a park I hit once or twice a year, I ride all coasters, thrill rides, and my favorite flat rides, and give little regard to much else.

At Kennywood, I spend hours sampling the AWESOME selection of flat rides.
I rarely ever go for anything but coasters, since I don't go to parks often.
I Hit all the coasters first, then anything else I've got time for, before having a last ride on my favorite coaster.

#Life is a rollercoaster you just gotta ride it#
Depends on the park, if it's a place like IOA, then I will hit Spidey first, because it usually has the longest wait. Then I will hit Dr. Doom, Hulk, and DD.

Parks for 2000: CP, Great Escape, Great Adventure, SFA, Islands of Adventure, Kennywood
When I am making a trip to a park that Im probably never going to visit again, I stick to the big rides. But, when I go to Cedar Point where I have a season pass it all depends. I might just go for an hour or two and ride Millenium Force a few times, sometimes I don't ride any coasters I just stick to the flat rides and watch the live entertainment.
